Bride Spotlight: Jennifer

Remember when I told you that Brooke’s mother is one of my favorite co-conspirators? Well, imagine how thrilled I was to get to work with the fabulous Debbie again on her daughter Jennifer’s wedding.

Jennifer’s wedding took place in California in the Century Plaza Hotel. The ceremony room was accented with pink and white trees overflowing with blossoms, while the chairs and walls were draped with soft fabric to create a romantic, elegant look. Jennifer and her groom stood under a chuppah covered in Swarovski crystals, orchids and roses.

For the reception, Debbie (who loves conceptual art) had the fabulous idea of using swans as the motif, so I created floral swan sculptures to dot different tables across the room. To balance out the look, the tables without swans had umbrellas with raining crystals and an abundance of flowers.

This wedding was a great example of how a mother and daughter can work together and create something fabulous as a team. Tell me, what’s one moment in your life where you worked together with your mother and created something fantastic?

That would be the kitchen, dear Preston. My momma(I’m from the south) is known throughout, OK, albeit with family and friends and those seeking good food. Fantastic southern food, cooked by a fantastic southern cook.
