In Texas you have to check out Chad Alan of Chad Alan Events. He is a true renaissance man! Classically trained violinist and professionally trained Master of Ceremonies. Chad is the only certified Wedding Entertainment Director in Texas, google that term if you haven’t heard of it. Chad is also a certified Wedding Planner so he is very informative in his role as a professional Master of Ceremonies. And to top it all off he teaches the certification course at the University of Texas in Arlington. He is graceful with his words and he makes entertainment a true art form. It was truly amazing to be apart of a wedding in which he performed. Every guests commented on him and over half of the thank you cards mentioned our wedding as the best wedding reception ever!

Peter Merry, who has Merry Weddings in Southern California, is outstanding! He’s a great DJ and more. Check out his book “The Best Wedding Reception Ever.” Our friends said that had the most fun at our daughter’s reception thanks to Peter. He helps to make weddings more personal for the couple and the guests feel more involved in the celebration. It’s fabulous that he wrote a book because if you can’t get Peter at least you can use some of his advice.

He will travel to wherever your wedding is and make the most fun, romantic, and BEST ever! His book, “The Best Wedding Reception…Ever!” has been updated and is releasing again in October! A must read for every Bride!

We’re very luck to have several really great DJs here in the Phoenix area. One of my favorites (if not in fact my favorite) is Curtis Whipple. What a show he puts on for his audience. It’s awesome fun when at a party and Curtis is the DJ!!

We used John St. Clair who runs Aria Melody DJ in Manhattan – none of the cheese associated with DJs – no lights, no banners or signs or anything and most importantly no extremely loud bass. I didn’t care about the flowers or the table decorations….all I wanted was a good DJ who would play the Smiths and Elvis Costello and my wife got her Lady Gaga and Rihanna. We didn’t have to sacrifice taste to have a good time!
