No, you do not need to use only fall flowers or colors. In fact, I love the element of surprise. For example, using a winter look in the summer or spring look in the winter. I find this to be totally unexpected and it brings your guests back to a completely different season.
Most of my brides always have a special season they love. I am more invested in bringing their dreams to life than being restricted by the time of year. Of course, this goes against most conventions but I personally like pushing the envelope. Yes, you might get a few guests who think this is in poor taste, but ultimately it’s your day.
What do you think? Should brides and designers only use fall flowers or colors in fall or are you open to other choices?

I too agree. I feel it’s fun and whimiscal if the bride where to select something different or out of the ordinary. It make it THEIR event.

AMEN!!! I am having a fall wedding and did not want to include fall colors into my wedding…or leaves or pumpkins!
Deep jewel tones and diamonds are much more fun!

The bride and groom should have their say on the color and flower choices. Guests are usually invited and have “zero” input on the color and flower choices. Designers can show their favorite examples to the bride and groom and open the couple’s imagination.
