Today, we’re really busy getting my all White Thanksgiving table for my 50 friends and family, so this will be a short post. We have the perfect giveaway (which I’ll share with you next week!)
Thank you to you all, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
What are you most looking forward to eating tomorrow? As for me, I’m taking a break from my raw food diet to partake in my sisters’ fabulous cooking. (Shh…don’t tell anyone.)

George Bernard Shaw once said: “You see things and say, ‘Why?’ But I dream things that never were and say, ‘Why not?’” That quote embodies how Preston Bailey approaches every event.

My Grandma Dora’s Brandied Sweet Potato Pudding… this is the only recipe I have from my fraternal grandmother, as she passed away decades before I was born, this is the only tangible thing I have that connects me to her. I have been making this dish (without disruption) for over ten years now. It is basically the filling for a pie but with more eggs and E & J Brandy and topped off with marshmellows… I am especially excited this year because I am going to roast the sweet potatoes this year as apposed to boiling them, my feeling is that I will retain more of the natural sweetness and won’t need as much sugar and this is the year I am going to attempt to write the recipe down (I was taught to “cook to taste” this dish). Can’t wait!

Your all white Thanksgiving is BEAUTIFUL. Your 50 family and friends are in for a delightful treat!
In my family I do all the cooking and holiday decor. So I have the typical fall colors (green, burnt orange, burgundy, chocolate brown and gold) and lots of pumpkins that sparkle. My youngest child went to college this year so he is insisting I prepare all our traditional favorites. So I have a 30lb turkey, a Honey Baked Ham, greens with smoked turkey, roasted sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, dressing, brussel sprouts with bacon and balsamic vinegar , shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and amaretto cheesecake for dessert. Manhattan’s will be my signature drink.
I can’t wait to hear about your wonderful gift to your friends. I wish you and all the readers of your blog a very Happy Thanksgiving

My sister Vanessa will be coming over and bring her famous dish.. portorrican rice and stuffing. I’ve tried making it many times but I can never make it the way she does. I always look forward to her dishes. Amongst all the traditional American dishes I get to eat a little portorrican food. It is pure heaven. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Beau-ti-ful, Preston! Can’t wait to see and hear about it. Have a great time!
Favorite thing? Homemade pumpkin pie, pie crust from scratch, with homemade whipped cream. It comes but twice a year and it’s oh so yummy! Well worth the hours of work.
Happy Thanksgiving!

living outside the USA creates a challenge in having a traditional Thanksgiving feast with all the “fixins”. This year the local American Club has organized a dinner for americans (and adopted americans). I give thanks for having this group in my life. Tonight it will definitely be lots of turkey and cranberry sauce for me.
Lots of Thanks and giving to us all.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your love ones.
We don’t really celebrate Thanksgiving in Singapore. However I love to cook and my favorites are Roast Turkey and Honey Glazed Gammon Ham; I enjoyed the roasting and glazing process. You may find it strange, we have these for Christmas instead.
