I just got back from Hong Kong and New York is in full holiday swing. One of my all time favorite pastimes is checking out different Christmas tree decorations.
I happen to love the very classic, homey, traditional trees. However, I also love seeing the many original ideas that folks come up with for the holidays.
Last Christmas, after looking at the many Christmas cards from friends and family I received, I thought about how interesting it could be to create an actual tree to display these cards. The fun part was that when most of my friends or family came over, they loved seeing theirs cards being part of my Christmas tree.
What is your favorite tree decoration? If you had to decorate your “ultimate Christmas tree” what would it be?
If you have pictures of your tree, or any tree you absolutely love, please post it on our Facebook page. I’d like to share it with all of our readers.

LOVE this idea, Preston! How sweet! A great way to see those cards in a nice display and use them.
I’ve been so inspired by all of the Holiday hub-bub in Germany (tons of warm, cozy and welcoming Christmas markets) that I’ve decided that next year we may do our holiday decor a bit less traditional. I’m thinking pretty pinks and golds, as you have here. Crystals and very sparkly-type ornaments, too. Something fun and different, though I very much “heart” the traditional.
Great tree, Preston! Love love love it!
