Last month I wrote about my wonderful experience at the Edmonton Bridal Expo. I met so many talented and dedicated wedding industry folks while I was there, including wedding planner Sofia Morgadinho, who owns Awespiring Weddings and Design.
When Sofia introduced herself to me at the Bridal Expo, she was very pregnant, and we joked that she might give birth before I finished giving my speech! (That’s a photo of me and Sofia above.) We had a lovely chat about the challenges of being both a mother and a planner, and I predicted she would give birth to a beautiful baby girl. Before we parted, I asked Sofia to email me after she had her baby.
Earlier this week, she did just that. And I was right! She did have a beautiful baby. But I got the sex wrong. Sofia gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Joel Morgadinho arrived on October 23, weighing a healthy nine pounds. Isn’t he precious?
