I like the thought of having a personal touch with the clients. I do believe a personal touch goes a long way, but we should also know when to take a step back, as there are some clients, who like to keep things on the professional level only (I mean the arrogant ones, lol). Having a good professional and personal relationship with the client will always be fruitful, as they will surely recommend us in the future too.

Love this, Preston. Vendors must, must, must (can't stress it enough) take care of their clients. So many brides want to feel like they're your only client day-of and it's your responsibility to make each bride, whether you have 1 or 10 weddings that day, feel positively special. Everyone pays and expects great service so always pull through, no matter what.

Great Valentines-ish post. :)

Love the post today. Having a client is more than a job it is a relationship that has to be nutured and most importantly they are paying so they always need to feel important. I especially like your advice about learning their most prefered means of communication because every person is different and most times they comminicate based on what their schedule permits.

I once had a client who only wanted to comminicate with me through blackberry messanger, but hated being on the phone. I had to download watsapp once because I had a client who always sent me information that way. Learn early what makes them comfortable and also learn their love language and always be there to assure them though it all
