As we start to wind down this week, I thought it might be nice to take a few moments and reflect on the things, people and experiences that have brought joy and peace to our lives.
As planners, we spend so much of our time and energy working to make others happy that it’s easy to overlook the things we have to be grateful for. For me, having the ability to do what I love for a living and using those skills to bring joy to others is an enormous blessing.
What are you most grateful for these days?

George Bernard Shaw once said: “You see things and say, ‘Why?’ But I dream things that never were and say, ‘Why not?’” That quote embodies how Preston Bailey approaches every event.

Iam thankful for my hands, being able to express myself through forms of design, art work, hairstyling and touch. Bringing a smile on someone’s face from a thought and bringing it to life and, you, the designer is in awe of the outcome..priceless. Happy for creativity, and the ability to vent it.
