Dear Readers,
As I look back on the twists and turns of my career, I cannot help but to be filled with a sense of gratitude for the opportunities that have come my way and the unconditional support you have shown me.
I have been thinking of a way to say thank you and I feel the best way to do so is to reciprocate in kind. There are a number of wonderful designers, florists, photographers and vendors whose gifts and dedication deserve recognition. Next Friday, we will launch a spotlight series where I ask you for your recommendations as to who should be spotlighted in each category.
Here is how the process will work:
- Friday, I will announce what vendor we are profiling (florists, customer service, designers, planners, photographers, etc.)
- You will have until Monday of the following week to send in your submissions (in the comment section of the post).
- I have a small panel of experts who will choose the top three submissions.
- We will profile each submission for the following three weeks and allow you to vote for the one you feel is best.
Guidelines:
The company must have a website with at least three images displaying their best work.
You must put in a note as to why they deserve to win. What makes them exceptional.
The company must be known to have good customer service.
I would like to note that this is not a “competition” but a profile. We are all peers, not competitors and there are certainly more than three who deserve to be profiled. I think this would be a remarkable way for all of us to get to know one another a bit more and be inspired by each other.
Please share your thoughts below.
Blessings,
Preston

Hi Preston and team members! First let me say how lucky we are to share in this glorious industry with such tremendous talent as yourselves. I am the owner of Mill Crest Vintage of Lambertville, NJ-about an hour outside of NYC. We offer brides-to-be, along with their entire wedding part,y the finest collection of authentic vintage bridal wear from the past 100 years of fashion history. We strongly believe that the dress helps set the tone for the wedding day. It would be an honor to be considered as a vendor of choice as brides’ go to choice for all of their vintage needs. I would like to personally invite you to visit our online boutique or perhaps stop in for a private tour of our salon. We also carry a extraordinary library of vintage textiles-great for wedding decor. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
