Dear Readers,

Thank you so much for all of your wonderful suggestions.  I am thrilled to have learned about some great floral artists and talented planners.  Today, I would like to ask you to suggest the best caterers and venues in your area.

Here are a few qualifications I have in terms of what I consider to make a caterer “great”:

1 Excellent food whether it’s fine dining or comfort food.

2 Great service (courteous and prompt).

3 Great presentation. I have worked with many caterers who have turned food presentation into an art form.

If you own or know of a catering company who meets these qualifications, please do not hesitate to list the name, website, contact information and your personal recommendation in the comment section.

    My two favorites in the Phoenix Area are M Culinary and Creations in Cuisine. Chef Michael DeMaria of M Culinary is an award winning chef that not only creates great cuisine but can create an amazing atmosphere any where.

    Frank and Tony with Creations in Cuisine can match any cuisine style for their clients. They are very articulate and very reasonable.

    It’s hard to choose just a couple – but here are some top picks:

    (the infamous) Barton G, out of Miami. He’s fab and he knows it.

    L’Hermitage Catering by Marci Boland out of Ft Lauderdale – her menus are always amazing, and she is the only certified organic caterer in South Florida

    Ken-Rose Catering – a local favorite with the country club set. A very elegant European style service.

    Donut Divas – it’s a mobile donut and fun foods company. Need I say more?

    Daniel et Daniel are one of Toronto’s best caterers. They’ve been in business for years and have a sterling reputation. Their staff is a dream – first class all the way – and their food is delicious and beautiful. They’ve been named Toronto’s top caterer by NOW magazine for 12 years straight and they are a Preferred Supplier for most of our better venues.
