Dear Readers: How Have You Overcome Your Fears?

Preston Bailey, freedom, courage

Dear Readers,

Happy Friday!

I am currently en route to Antigua where I will be speaking at Caribbean Bride Magazine’s Bride Villa event this weekend. I cannot wait to tell you all more about my recent trips to Ft. Worth and Kuwait next week when I return.  Today, I wanted to close the “Dear Preston” week with a “Dear Readers” blog.

Those of you who have been reading the blog for some time may have figured out that I see this space not only as a place to share my experiences, but also one where we can exchange information and learn from each other.   Today, I would like to ask you a question.

Dear Readers,

As artists, we often find ourselves in a purgatory between inspiration and execution. While there, we often encounter various levels of fear: failure, rejection, creative blocks and so forth.  I would like to ask all of you how you work through these fears and push yourselves forward.  Secondly, when was the last time you pushed yourself through a fearful moment, and what was the result?

Please share with us!

Blessings,

Preston

I see fear and inspiration moving parallel to each other. I used to fear of uncertainty at each and every step of my life. It took me awhile to conquer upon my fears once inspiration took over my capacity to react and act both. For example, I used to fear heights but once I fall in love with ceiling treatments and Preston’s chandeliers then there was no room for fear. Fears are being educated into our minds and they win if we let them. Another important virtue that has helped is faith in God as I see Inspiration is blessing from almighty with beginning of my dreams.
