Gratitude & Compassion

Dear Readers,

Today, I wanted to take a moment and acknowledge what has happened here on the east coast.  I want to send heartfelt thanks to all of those who have sent support to us and let those who have been affected know that they are in my thoughts and prayers.

Beyond basic preparations, there is not much we can do in situations like the one caused by Sandy.  What we can do is offer support, comfort and assistance to those in need.   Sometimes, reaching out to check on a friend or neighbor, or welcoming them into a warm home (with power) are the best gifts one can receive.   I am pleased to say that I have seen numerous examples of this kind of compassion here in New York City.

I truly hope this post finds you all safe and well.

With thanks and support,

Preston

Gratitude for being able to live and compassion for all is what makes this world compromising and unique. Lending a helping to those in need is a way to Thank God for what we have today.

Wow, this would be such a nice gift! I’ve used Shutterfly before for calendars and small gifts, but these look stunning! I would love the engagement book as we just got engaged last Saturday :)
